GunMaffia Back Online After Downtime and Major Update

GunMaffia is back online!

GunMaffia was temporarily unavailable due to unexpected downtime. We used this opportunity to carry out several maintenance tasks and safely deploy a new version of the game to the live server.

During the maintenance, several systems were checked and tested. At the same time, we deployed a number of major improvements. The biggest changes include the revamp of Organized Crimes, a major expansion of the Casino, and various bug fixes and technical improvements.

The most important checks have now been completed and GunMaffia is fully available again.

Casino significantly expanded

The Casino has received a major expansion.

In addition to the existing Wheel of Fortune and Higher/Lower, several new casino games have been added:

• Lottery

• Guess the Number

• Blackjack

• Crack the Safe

This gives the Casino much more variety and provides more ways to put your casino credits on the line.

The system behind the Casino has also been expanded. Casino games can now be managed individually, and we have laid the foundation for temporary games and special casino events.

This means that not every casino game has to remain permanently available. Certain games can be opened temporarily during an event and disappear from the Casino again afterwards.

Existing games have also received improvements. Wheel of Fortune and Higher/Lower, among others, have been further refined, and several issues affecting their functionality and presentation have been fixed.

Organized Crimes completely revamped

Organized Crimes have also received a major update.

This part of the game is all about teamwork: assemble your crew, prepare the crime and make sure everyone is ready before carrying out the operation.

With this update, we have further improved both the mechanics and the checks surrounding Organized Crimes.

The changes include:

• Participants and their status are checked more accurately.

• Players must be in the correct location before the crime can be carried out.

• Only available possessions can be used as stakes.

• Checks for vehicles and weapons used in the crime have been improved.

• Wins and losses are correctly processed for each participant.

• Power and possessions are correctly updated after completion.

• The system is better protected against duplicate executions.

• The execution and presentation of Organized Crimes have been further improved.

Organized Crimes have also received visual improvements to better match GunMaffia's updated design, including support for Light and Dark Mode.

Various bug fixes and technical improvements

We also used the downtime to address various bugs and smaller issues.

Many of these changes may not be immediately visible to players, but they are important for the stability of the game. Several underlying systems, checks and security measures have been reviewed and improved where necessary.

Before reopening GunMaffia, we also created backups and checked important parts of the game on the live server.

We wanted to make the website fully available again only after confirming that the most important game systems were working correctly.

The maintenance has now been completed and GunMaffia is back online.

With the revamped Organized Crimes, expanded Casino and various technical improvements, another major update is now ready for you to explore.
