What you do in GunMaffia

Six parts make up the core of the game. Each one has its own page with more detail.

• Crimes & robberies From pickpocketing to a cash-in-transit job: where you earn your first money and experience.
• Families Found a family, hand out the ranks and choose between war and alliances.
• Cars & travel Steal cars for your garage and travel between eight cities, from Palermo to Osaka.
• Economy & trading Banking, the drug trade, property at auction and the casino: make your money work for you.
• Weekly contracts & achievements New goals every week, a bonus for those who keep at it, and achievements that stay.
• Ranks & competition From Groentje to Godfather or Drugsbaron, with attacks, bounties and rounds.

How does GunMaffia work?

There is no fixed storyline to follow. There is a clear path, though: what you do earns money and experience, and that is how you grow.

1. 01

   Start on the street

   You create a free account and start as a Groentje (rookie) in one of the cities, with a little starting money and no name yet.

2. 02

   Choose your moves

   Commit a crime, pull off a robbery, take on a job or steal a car. Every action has a waiting time, so you keep choosing what pays off most right now.

3. 03

   Earn money and experience

   A successful action earns money and experience. If it fails, you can get hurt or end up in jail. Experience makes your actions more successful and decides your rank.

4. 04

   Gear up

   In the shop you buy weapons, protection and a bank card. Stolen cars go into your garage, where you repair them or race them.

5. 05

   Team up or attack

   Join a family or found your own. Attack other players, put a bounty on someone's head, or go to war with your family.

6. 06

   Rise through the ranks

   After ten ranks, from Groentje to Mobster, you choose your path for good: Godfather or Drugsbaron (drug lord).
