Stealing cars

You start with cars nobody will miss, like a Citroën C1 or an Opel Astra. With more experience you move on to heavier work: a BMW M3, a Porsche 911, a Lamborghini Huracán or a McLaren 720S.

If the theft succeeds, the car ends up in your garage in whichever city you are in at that moment. A stolen car rarely arrives without scratches: most come with damage.

Your garage

In your garage you repair damage and enter your cars in street races. If you win, you earn money and a little experience. Your car does pick up more damage.

Cars are more than a collection. In organized crime the driver needs one, and for a cash-in-transit robbery you pick your getaway car from your garage.

Eight cities, each with its own character

GunMaffia is set in eight cities: Brussels, Palermo, Bogota, Tijuana, Las Ventura, Volgograd, Osaka and Ankara. Every city has its own big local robbery, its own drug prices and its own range in the shops.

Police pressure also differs from city to city. Where things are quiet, a crime succeeds more easily than where the police have just stepped up their patrols.

To attack another player you have to be in the same city. Traveling is therefore also a way to track someone down, or to stay out of their way.

Traveling by plane, train or bus

You travel between the cities by plane, train or bus. Each leaves at fixed times. The plane departs most often and reaches every city. Bogota and Las Ventura can only be reached by plane.

Airports, train stations and bus stations are owned by players. The owner sets the ticket price and earns from every traveler. You can read more about that under economy and trading.
